Goals for the Club and how they will be accomplished:
The purpose of the Mindful Club is offer students some assistance in dealing with stress skillfully and to maintain the right mindfulness amidst all the stress.
Activities
The Mindful Club's goal is to help students effectively manage this with the right guidance by conducting meditations and yoga for students of all age groups. There activities will serve as a fun way to alleviate stress levels!
Commitment Level
You are welcome to come any time. No prior experience needed, everyone is welcome!
Meetings
The club meets every Wednesdays during the break in room 41. Also, we will be organizing some Mindfulness sessions for the students of primary school after school once a week. Several engaging activities will be arranged for them to relax and have fun after a stressful day at school.
- To develop encourage students to take maximum 10 minutes of their time to relax
- Mindfulness sessions will be hosted every Wednesday’s until June

- To increase awareness among DAA students
- Posters with Mindful quotes will be put around the high school

- To destress from the seriousness/ stress of high school
- Ms. Crick will run sessions during advisories

- To involve the elementary students as it is effective for them as well
- In the 2nd Trimester Anisha and I will run 1 hour sessions every (Sun/Mon (still needs to be decided) as an after school activity
